• 최근 파트 5에서는 단순히 “어떤 것을 좋아하나요?”, “대신 무엇을 하겠나요?” 정도의 질문에서 벗어나 문제 상황을 제시하고 이에 대한 제안이나 의견을 묻는 형태가 증가하고 있습니다. 예컨대 “If the company wants to improve staff productivity, what would you recommend?” 같은 유형이 많습니다.
• 질문 준비시간이 보통 약 30초 내외이고, 말하기 응답 시간이 약 60초로 유지되는 경향이 있습니다.
• 주제가 점점 업무 환경, 디지털 기술, 소비자 행동, 환경·사회적 이슈 등 현실생활 및 직장생활과 밀접한 영역으로 확대되고 있어, 수험자가 일상 경험이나 직장 경험을 통해 답변을 구축하기 유리해졌습니다.
• 답변에서 단순히 의견만 제시하는 것보다 이유 제시 + 구체적 예시 또는 실행 가능한 제안을 포함하는 응답이 더 우수 평가를 받는 경향이 있습니다.

출제 주제

아래는 파트 5에서 자주 등장하는 주제들의 예시입니다:

파트 5에서는 제한된 시간 안에 의견을 제시하고, 이유나 제안을 포함하는 것이 중요하므로 아래 구조를 미리 연습해주세요:
